Responsible Gaming at s5ph

Gaming should be fun, not harmful. s5ph is committed to promoting responsible gaming and protecting players from the risks of problem gambling. We provide tools, resources, and support to help you stay in control and enjoy gaming safely.

Stay in Control

s5ph offers a comprehensive suite of responsible gaming tools to help you manage your playing time, spending, and overall gaming behavior.

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to control how much money you can add to your s5ph account. Once set, limits cannot be increased for 24 hours.

Loss Limits

Set maximum loss limits to ensure you never lose more than you can afford. When your limit is reached, you'll be unable to place further bets until the period resets.

Session Timers

Set time limits for your gaming sessions. You'll receive reminders when your time is running out, and the system will log you out automatically when the limit is reached.

Reality Checks

Enable pop-up reminders that appear at regular intervals during play, showing you how long you've been playing and how much you've won or lost.

Take a Break

Temporarily suspend your account for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days if you feel you need a break. During this period, you cannot log in or place bets.

Self-Exclusion

Permanently or temporarily close your s5ph account for a minimum of 6 months if you're struggling with problem gambling. This decision cannot be reversed during the exclusion period.

21+ Only

Under Philippine law and PAGCOR regulations, you must be at least 21 years of age to register an account, deposit funds, or play any games on the s5ph Platform. This age restriction exists to protect minors from the potential harms of gambling and to ensure that only legally eligible adults participate in online gaming activities.

During registration and at various points throughout your use of s5ph, we may request government-issued identification to verify your age and identity. This is a legal requirement under Philippine Anti-Money Laundering laws and PAGCOR licensing conditions. Providing false information, using someone else's identity, or attempting to circumvent age verification checks is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account closure and forfeiture of all funds.

If you suspect that someone under the age of 21 has created an account on s5ph, please contact our Customer Support team immediately at [email protected]. We take underage gambling extremely seriously and will investigate and close any accounts found to be held by minors.

Protecting Minors

s5ph is committed to preventing underage gambling. We recommend that parents and guardians use internet filtering software and parental controls to block access to online gaming sites on devices used by minors.

Recommended Parental Control Tools:

  • Google Family Link (Android devices)
  • Apple Screen Time (iOS devices)
  • Windows Family Safety
  • Net Nanny
  • Norton Family

How Self-Exclusion Works

Self-exclusion is a serious commitment designed for players who recognize they have a gambling problem and need to take definitive action to stop. When you self-exclude from s5ph, you are voluntarily agreeing to have your account closed for a specified period during which you cannot log in, deposit, play, or withdraw funds (existing balances will be returned to you via your original payment method before the exclusion takes effect).

Self-Exclusion Periods:

  • Minimum 6 months: The shortest self-exclusion period allowed under PAGCOR regulations.
  • 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, or 5 years: Medium to long-term exclusion options.
  • Permanent (Lifetime): Irreversible closure of your s5ph account.

Important Self-Exclusion Terms:

  • Self-exclusion requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and must include your full name, account username, date of birth, and preferred exclusion period.
  • Once a self-exclusion period begins, it cannot be reversed, shortened, or canceled for any reason. This is to protect you from impulsive decisions during moments of temptation.
  • During the exclusion period, you will not receive any promotional communications, bonuses, or marketing materials from s5ph.
  • Any attempts to open a new account during a self-exclusion period will result in immediate closure of the new account and forfeiture of any funds deposited.
  • At the end of a fixed-term exclusion period (e.g., 6 months or 1 year), your account will not be automatically reactivated. You must contact Customer Support and confirm in writing that you wish to resume playing. We strongly encourage you to consider whether it is safe to return to gambling before making this decision.
  • s5ph will take all reasonable steps to prevent you from accessing your account during the exclusion period, including blocking your IP address, device identifiers, and payment methods.

If you are considering self-exclusion but are unsure whether it's the right option for you, please contact our Customer Support team. We can discuss alternative responsible gaming tools such as deposit limits, loss limits, or temporary account suspension ("Take a Break") that may be more appropriate for your situation.

Tips for Responsible Gaming

Follow these guidelines to ensure your gaming experience on s5ph remains fun, safe, and within your control:

  • Set a budget before you play: Decide in advance how much money you can afford to lose, and never exceed that amount. Treat gambling as entertainment, not a way to make money.
  • Set time limits: Decide how long you want to play and stick to that limit. Use s5ph's session timer tool to help you stay on track.
  • Never chase losses: If you're on a losing streak, don't try to win your money back by continuing to gamble. Walk away and come back another day with a fresh mindset.
  • Don't gamble when you're emotional: Avoid gambling when you're upset, stressed, depressed, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. These states impair your judgment and make it harder to stick to your limits.
  • Take regular breaks: Step away from the screen every 30–60 minutes to stretch, grab a snack, or do something else. This helps prevent fatigue and keeps your decision-making sharp.
  • Keep gambling in perspective: Remember that the house always has an edge and that losses are statistically more likely than wins over time. Gambling should be for fun, not a source of income.
  • Don't borrow money to gamble: Never use money you've borrowed, money meant for bills, or money you can't afford to lose. Only gamble with disposable income.
  • Balance gambling with other activities: Make sure gaming doesn't take over your life. Maintain your hobbies, relationships, work, and other responsibilities.
  • Monitor your behavior: Regularly review your account history and ask yourself whether your gambling habits are healthy. If you notice warning signs, use s5ph's responsible gaming tools or seek help.

PAGCOR Responsible Gaming Standards

As a PAGCOR-licensed online casino, s5ph adheres to strict responsible gaming standards set by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation. These standards are designed to protect players, prevent problem gambling, and ensure that online gaming operators act ethically and responsibly.

PAGCOR-mandated responsible gaming measures include:

  • Strict age verification and KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures to prevent underage gambling
  • Mandatory self-exclusion programs with minimum 6-month exclusion periods
  • Availability of deposit limits, loss limits, and session timers
  • Clear display of responsible gaming information and support resources
  • Prohibition of marketing to minors or vulnerable individuals
  • Training for customer support staff on recognizing and assisting problem gamblers
  • Regular audits and compliance checks to ensure operators meet responsible gaming obligations

PAGCOR also maintains a national self-exclusion registry that allows individuals to exclude themselves from all licensed gambling establishments in the Philippines, including land-based casinos, online gaming sites, and other gaming venues. If you wish to self-exclude across all PAGCOR-licensed operators (not just s5ph), you can register with PAGCOR's central exclusion program by visiting a PAGCOR office or contacting their responsible gaming department directly.
